Book lovers in the Garw have marked a new chapter with the official opening of an all-new library facility at the Garw Valley Life Centre.

Formerly located at Pontycymer's Oxford Street, the library's new home means that it can offer longer opening hours, more books, a wider range of additional lending resources including DVDs and CDs, increased opportunities for community and learning activities, a new children's area and enhanced ICT facilities, including free Wi-Fi for library members.
